The surprise was the scarcely seen distributor mark of E. H�ner, Weinheim. At the time I bought this piece a number of years ago, I had never heard of this distributor. Since that time I've seen a couple but they were ratty in appearance. Often times it's not just finding that rare piece but finding one in the condition we all like to collect.
Isn't this is one of the toughest decisions sometimes? A rare piece in less than optimal condition. I'll be honest, I usually jump for one as there have been occasions where I've seen 1 beater & never another.
