Thanks, but, I shoor aren't no genius.

The model is only about 1/3 scratchbuilt while retaining the big shapes like the basic hull, suspension, gun/shield. With kits I like to remove the molded-in details and replace same with machined bits. Gives the model a look which is both 'busy' and visually interesting.
