Ya know guys...I think that Rolex is the most over rated thing I guy can own at my age. I have one that is a beauty (a datejust) but if you follow the Rolex manual and have it cleaned every so often at $400 a pop, I can't see it.

Speaking of "can't see it"...I am on my second Timex Indiglo watch in 7 years. They never failed (I lost the stem off the first one by accident) and it was only $50.00 to get a new watch rather than repair it. It glows in the dark if you push the stem to help you find a keyhole and you can read the dial. You can't say that about a Rolex when you get to be over 60.

My Rolex sits unused, but cleaned, in the box. I have driven cars cheaper than that thing. I got mine as a gift while I was President of my company upon my retirement so it was free to me.

I'd take the Timex any day over the Rolex to just do what a watch is supposed to do.

That one shown is a good looker though...but I honestly could not read the dials without glasses!
