As per Wayne's book, Klaas etched their own blades instead of purchasing them from other companies. The font, from what I can see, doesn't look like Klass lettering. In fact, the font looks similar to the etched combat bayonets that came out of England in the 1960s. I will say I'm skeptical of the pommel etch but admittedly the pics are bad. I'd love to see better pics when you can post them.
