I think it's a 100% legit SA/SS cornet gorget.
I owned one few years ago and I found the old pictures of the gorget itself and photos from the reference book "Gorgets of the 3rd Reich" by Richard E. Deeter and Warren W. Odegard.
You can see both SA and SS flagbearers, including the famous Jacob Grimminger, who held the honored duty of flagbearer of the Blutfahne.
