IMO There is a strong possibility the chain link with the hallmarks is post war, or even the chain assembly. I still think the dagger is pre 1945.
An astute observation Eric. Now if you or someone else would care to explain how and under what circumstances these purportedly pre 45 daggers in the hands of veterans since wars end were united with post war chains we can put this discussion to rest. Jim
