Craig, Obviously you have owned and/or handled multiple examples of these (H�hnlein) daggers. And seem to have done quite a bit of research as well. A couple of entries back in this thread I asked a couple of what I thought were fairly simple questions. The answers to which I hope you are willing to share with us.
* Where these daggers authorized in 1938, or is that a bad date, and what should it be?
* Keeping the above in mind, when do you think they were manufactured?
* And the criteria for the award of the dagger was based on?
