Just want to show a recent purchase an unissued Heer M40. The paint and decal rate at almost 100% as does the paint on the buckle (the strap is unmarked)
The liner band is dated 1940,the liner is mint with a faint dome stamp to the enterior crown.

The maker mark is very hard to make out. Either EF64 or ET64,this decal from what I have been told would be acceptable on either.

This helmet has been in a private collection for over 30 years.It really looks much better in hand.
