Hi all,

I'm sure this has been discussed at some previous point but I may have missed it. I was curious as to what the prevailing theory was regarding the gilted Heer hangers that are found from time to time. I've heard they were for "General Officers", and that they were nothing more than a period variation.

I picked these hangers up some time ago and only took a closer look at them recently. They're A55mann marked and interestingly, the reverse slides are marked "1" & "2". I'd be interested to know what your thoughts on the topic were. Thanks.
