Hopefully someone can shed some light on this rather recent vet estate pickup. I can't seem to locate anything similar in any of my reference books, so maybe someone in this forum can help me ID it. The blade is stamped with an E&F horster trademark. The blade is totally void of any engraving. The blade is 10/7/8 inches long. All the fittings are brass and the scabbard is black leather. Any help would be greatly appreciated. MAZZ

Mazz,
It looks a nice unit and of a Bavarian type. I've not seen one similar to this pattern and it has some very distinct features. I'm sure some of the other fellas can tell you more about value and such, but all indications say the piece is a good conditioned original.
Thanks for the photos.

Bill, Thank you for the information. Were all Bavarian hirschfangers this plain or is this just an economy model? MAZZ
