The all important mark, colour is a bit off I'm afraid as I adjusted the balance slightly to bring up Diebitsch's name.

Don, I hope you won't mind me chiming in a little bit late..? Simply an outstanding piece that would grace any Heiligen Abend (Christmas Eve) dinner table, either then or now. Timeless - not done up in political drivel either... simply and elegantly stated, nice! Great photo too, Don! Best regards! Bill

I think that I read that these candle holders were awarded by Himmler for the birthdays of children of SS Officers. I also like how it's decorated with Hegal Runes! Also would look great next to the Julleuchter at Julfest!
