UBB.threads Forums General Militaria United States Militaria Pre or Post Civil War tunic

Anyone any ideas about this coatee. Looks as if it could even be war of independance, but more likely to be a militia coat of around civil war period. Trouble is that all of the buttons have been cut off, making it very difficult to identify.
