Maybe it's just me, and if so then it'll be a learning experience, but sorry, I really don't like the head on this eagle, nor the belt catch or the post/prongs. Unfortunately I'm having trouble accessing the SS buckle group gallery at this time but regardless, I haven't been able to find a match to it anywhere, as of yet.

Thanks for the answer Bushido,quit a history on this buckle belive me,but I have collected SS items for 20 years myself and do NEED help with this one,this buckle doesent "speak" to me???hope for moore answers before I trow it in the garbage Jonny

This is a well known original! Who was the maker is still unknown (by myself at least). The catch is of second Type known for this buckle, scarcer than the most common Type but still already referenced. If you want to sell it, please let me know since I am interested (I own only the first Type of catch). Anyway, I would be glad if you could at least send me high resolution photos of it to my address ( [email protected]). TIA

Ian,
You will be able to see both variants (Type 1 and Type 2) and compare some features since Jonny was kind enough to sell me his.
I will take photos side by side and post those in the GDC.
