Lets have a few guesses, give me the maker and why, by that you will need to back up your guess with some evidence. All the information is in this forum somewhere.

Gary, thank you for showing this one, with it I have learned something more about forest edged weapons and their trademarks. Please, might we also get a look at the bottom scabbard fitting? Thank you in advance, regards,

Hi Paul
Yes this one is from Stuttgart, found it Saturday afternoon after I could finally see the tables, it was very busy.
Wotan, here's the lower mount.

I have only seen about 5 of these. I think Gary has 2, I have one, and another collector has 2. 3 are stag and 2 are ivory. All are the same design.

Interesting to note that my other one with the Stag grips does not have the special etch that pack used, also the makers mark whilst still being etched is different. This piece has the standard type etch seen on a lot of other makers, I presume it was a choice they gave the prospective buyer at the time. Whilst at the Stuttgart show I saw 2 other Packs, an almost mint Stag grip piece with fluted clamshell and a DJ piece that was way to ratty for me to be interested, both had the special etch,I passed on the other because I thought it must be a fake, it was so minty I do not think I have ever seen anything quite as good. In a way I was lucky I did because I saw the piece I did buy after and I only had enough money for one of them. Next year I intend to take a few more sheckles.
