I PICKED UP THESE PATCHES WITH SOME OT HER STUFF.THE ONE WITH THE MOUNTAINS WAS FROM A DIFFERENT GROUP.THANKS PAUL

HI PAUL, I AM NOT MUCH OF A PATCH GUY,BUT WAS GOING THROUGH SOME OF MINE THIS WEEK AND HAVE THE SAME ONE'S...THE YA PATCH IS THE 26th INFANTRY DIV.I THINK THEY CALLED IT THE YANKEE DIV.MAYBE SOME ONE WILL CORRECT ME ON THAT??? AND THE ONE WITH THE MOUNTAINS IS THE 80th INFANTRY DIV....DAVE H

That is correct - the 26th Infantry Division - Y - D on the patch is Yankee Division. First saw action in WW1. After the war was a Mass. National Guard Unit. reactivated in WW2 - part of Pattons 3rd Army. My dad was a member & saw action in the Bulge !
