Hey guys,
i want to purchase this wound badge in gold. I think it's ok, but still i would like a second opinion!
No maker, but claimed to be a Ferdinand Weidmann Frankfurt.
What do you think?
Regards Kevin

I am with Militarymania. The color of the front of the badge looks strange; I also do not like the hinge. JME

quote: the pin,hinge,catch
That's the reason for the seller to call it a Ferdinand W. (#19)

The pin, hinge and catch were used by Wiedmann and Deschler. Bigger pictures of the front would probably help ID the maker.
Looking for EKI spanges, first model intermediate and second model L/12.

Kevin, I am not into collecting Wound Badges, but knew that only two makers used the pin setup on your gold badge. I was hoping someone could ID the badge for you with better pictures. Jim

I'm not into the wound badges .You have to be careful of the Gold ones most that I've seen have a needle pin.I have one I bought yrs.ago looked great ,well made nice pin even had an LDO box .It makes a nice display piece ( in the draw )
You know you're over the hill when "Happy Hour" means Nap Time
