Hi guys.

I have a helmet here that I think is probably post war or repainted or whatever. I know little about helmets but will be asking for help as I determine what different helmets are from a collection I will be selling.

Here are some photos. It looks brand new.

Only markings I can find are numbers 324 on the back and ET68 on right inside.

Bringing this back up.

Is there no one on GDC that can identify this helmet?

Well, yes...sort of...... it is WWII manufacture in a desireable size and the paint may possibly be original. Without a side view one cannot tell if it is an M35 or an M40 model. Try taking photos in natural light and close-ups for the paint.

Hi Rob. Will post more photos, but this looks like it came right out of the factory. No signs of decals.

Here are better photos. While I see no sign of decals, there is scraping on at least one side. Hopefully the photos will show

final photo.

Any info would be helpful.

Could this have been removed from the factory like so many daggers were?

Any info or guesses will be helpful.
