There is always much interest in Third Reich Police uniforms and equipment. But I have enjoyed seeing the great prewar items as well. Thanks. I will add to the discussion with some early headgear. This is fine Bavarian Polizei NCO Helm

Yes I agree, nice helmet. I have always enjoyed these. Here is my small collection. Two Prussian police, one Prussian Landesgendarmerie and a Bavarian police.
