Don't let the name scare you off. Let me explain. About a year ago, I was finally polishing my brass Gatling Gun, Furr Arms Model 1883. I wanted to find a product that would seal the brass after I polished all that stuff so did extensive online research. I wanted more than what I had acheived with "Trewax" on other items so the search was on. What I found was "Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax" which is good not only for wood products but metals as well. I never did finish the Gatling Gun however the pieces that I have polished and applied the wax to are still as shiny as when I waxed them. With the great results on the Gatling, I have started to wax my daggers, blades and all and so far I am very pleased with the results. Has anyone used wax in a like manner and especially "Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax"?
