I have came across a German knife that I may be able to buy. I don't want to cheat the fellow but I also don't want to be stuck with something I can't resell and make a little profit. I do not know German items so I seek help here. That said: This knife I have researched here and found it to be a HEWER and it was made by ALCORO, Solingen. It has the wording on the blade. It has an eagle head pommel with white grips. The scabbard retains a 4" piece of leather with a snap and a buckle. Condition, I think is not good. I see no damage, just neglect. The eagle head is white color like aluminum. The scabbard has traces of silver on it. There is bubbled corrosion on the scabbard and there are rust spots on the blade. Can someone estimate a "safe" price for me to offer for this knife? Thanks.
