Has anyone seen a pale green 'AFRIKA' with palms cuffband? I got this one from a 101st Airborne prisoner interrogation officer. Normally these are pale brown, but this one is done on a thin cotton base and is distinctly green in color.

Hi, According to the cuff band book by Williamson and McGuirl, 'German Military Cuffbands', there was no known or very little variation from the brown 'camel hair' cloth. But, they don't absolutely say there were no variants. From what I can see, the embroidery looks pretty convincing. Can you show us a closer shot of the lettering and trees? Unfortunately, these have been reproduced in great numbers. Good luck
