Here is my new hkp64 marked SD M40 Luft Helmet. I just got it from JR and at a super price. I got an awesome minty Fire-Police on the way too and it is beautiful and gem mint, I know its only a fire-police but the way we drive the prices up its the only DD helmet I can afford, and I can bet that there price will increase alot in the years to come since most middle class guys can't afford the other DD helmets. Gee I bought a mint DD m35 heer 4 years ago for $800, whats the deal with these prices?

Hello arjan

Yes but I was on Fleamarket here in Nürnberg and there was a man with a M34 "Feuerlöschpolizei" Helmet,Original! And many poeples stand around and said:Hey it is forbidden it is a swastika on it you canīt do that. Some people was realy bad and said:Oh it is Nazi stuff go away with the sh...!I said to someone:It is History. He said:Yes it is let it.
Arjan, this man take a knife and scratch the Decals completley away of both sides, after this it was all ok.I watch to this man,and I think he knows what I want say,but I say nothing.I lost my words. It was 2 Years before.

I've seen many helmets in Germany that have Great decals. Condition means everything by how it was stored. I don't understand you Beowulf you seem to think real Decal in good condition can't exist, There is most likely more third reich stuff in the US that veterans brought back then all of german, which like you said is forbidden to be shown anyways. And that guy if he was scraching my helmet, I could not control myself, I would have end up in jail for giving him more then One Knuckle sandwich. I don't see why the guy did not just put it away when the controvercy started..

Now these only exist in America Confused Roll Eyes Come on Beuwulf you are way to sceptic that stuff is fake. The way it was stored no matter what country it currently resides will be the cause of its current condition. Cause and Effect, think Cause and Effect. Stored in a barn=no decal or liner. Stored in someones footlocker in a eviromently stable spot for 60 years=good shape, good liner, nice decals. I got american Navy stuff of my grandfathers, it hardly look 65 years old but it is.

Hello Guys

It is true and sometimes you can find some Original Documents or Pictures in the Trash.
Because there childrens of the Vetarans donīt like these things.Everytime if it is Fleamarket the Civilpolice looking around for this if the swastika is visible they get in trouble.

Here ist the German law for these things.I hope someone can read it.
