Hi all, Just back from a local Military Fair and I have seen a transitional Eickhorn with motto. On the ricasso on the same side as the motto '41' is stamped and knowing they stopped the motto on HJ's in 1938, wondered if this is correct. Sorry I have no pictures as I have not bought it yet , but could the '41' be a serial number or something similar. The dagger overall looked fine. The eickhorn logo and RZM mark looked okay, as did the diamond and scabbard. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

They quit the Motto in 38 but that doesn't mean all the blades were gone. This was a business and I have post 38 dated blades with motto that are 100%. They are quite rare. Russ
