This is my latest Heer, not really my style being a later one but the price was right and it came right out of the woodwork from an estate. Here's what I like, the grip is the "frozen orange juice" glass type with a very nice deep look, unfortunatly has a few chips in it,you can see the worst by the ferrel on the rear in the pics. The other thing is the crossguard, very unusual type seen in Whittmann's book pg 257,shown as a newly discovered WKC crossguard. Only seen a FEW in my time! The rest is typical late Tiger with dull fittings and generic scabbard all in good shape.Blade has small Tiger mark and nice crossgraining. Late "thin" chord portapee was in place when found. Take look and let me know what you think! Kevin.

Kevin A great army with as you said a rare crossguard can you get a better pic of the crossguard? This is a great combination with the glass grip. Despite the grip chip.

Tom, THANKS for comments. My camera is loaned out untill Tuesday but I will attempt to get a better pic then. This crossguard was a great discovery when I picked this dagger up! I havent seen it since I saw it in Whitmanns Heer book listed under "late arrivals" as a Rare third crossguard type from WKC. Makes sense becouse WKC made alot of the Generic fittings usually found on these Tigers! Kevin.
