Hello, I picked up this F&S fighting knife today and I believe it to be a 2nd pattern. It has the owners name etched on the blade and my guess is it was done by Wilkinson. It belonged to a tail gunner in a B17. Does the presence of the owners name add to the value? Any help appreciated. Best, Bill Bourque

Nice knife.
yes ones with the owners name are more desirable, as they can possibly be researched.
