*ringman,,some really nice ones. The infantry reg,, and Russland outstanding! ,,and that tank,,please another shot,,any markings?

*Benten,,WOW, the Belgium ring is a beauty! Magnetic you say,,I would think the ring was carved, then the gold pushed in or hammered into the cuts. The lion could be sheet upon sheet of gold foils, then he whole ring burnished...Really an amazing piece...

Here's another of mine :

Eamonn , the Russia ring is a favourite. I have seen one with text "Duinkerken" on it some time ago , they asked e300,- for it! Have you any idea about the left patriot ring there ending on …”rig” ? I’m interested to see more of your ring with the tank.

Gaspare, “Grossdeutschland” a nice ring with a historical meaning……I found here and there some info...
Grossdeutschland is a term that came up in the 19th century before the founding of German Empire in 1872, when Germany's area existed of several smaller and lager countries.
After 1870 ( read 1914 WW1) the idea of a Grossdeutschland expanded to surrounding German speaking countries ( or parts of those countries). It’s the base for WW1 and 2.

Mikee, beautiful rings! The Deutsch Afrika ring is a topper.
The last ring has not a German skull as we know them . This one is more irregular; perhaps it could be Italian?

Benten,
Thanks for the nice comments and very much appreciated. The skull sure is a scary one! Thats what attracted my attention when I first saw it and of course the cool construction as well. Certainly not what were used to seeing and I guess I was hoping it could be a Husaren ring of some type. The maker is J.H. Werner, Hofjuweiler.

Mikee, this German ring shows a whole battle-happening. It's in a very good condition . There also excist a more or less simular kind of WW1 ring from German's axis country Austria.

benten,

It's not easy to find one of these in real good condition and in gold, so I consider myself lucky.

Do you have a picture of the Austria ring? Thanks.

I've picked up a mid war ring with some open work. Unfortunately the enamel is fractured and only about 75% is left.
