Mikee, I got that piece from a European dealer. I was taken with the action and the great portrayals of the two animals. The best I ever got at sculpting was rolling my clay into long worms - they were real beauties too, I tell ya! Here's another hunting-related animal that you might enjoy, a life-size hare carved by one of the lesser-known French Animaliers, G.H. Laurent. Happy trails! Bill

Hi Bill,
I must say you guys get some really neat stuff. I have seen hounds with the deer in bronze as well, the blue mark is the maker mark, but cant make it out.
