Ryan,
This mask is post war IMO. They were the precursor to the famous jet pilot's MS22001. I have a couple in my RCAF collection. If you need to sell this one please let me know.
Cheers,
Darryl

Ryan, this is what I find Sir: "Ref. No. 854. USAAF A-14 DEMAND OXYGEN MASK. Stamped on mask is Demand Oxygen Mask Type A-14 Medium and Bulbulion Ohio Chemical & Mfg. Co. Arctic Apr. For and Property Air Force U. S. Army Spec. No. 3163 2-45. This mask was standardised for the USAAF on 1 July 1943. The A-14 was widely used in all theatres of operation and was produced in greater numbers than any other U S masks." Check near the bottom of this link page for the above and pic as well. http://www.warbirdsite.com/museumhelmets.htmlSorry Darryl, you are probably right too on the precursor aspect. Regards, Lloyd

Hi Lloyd,
Thanks for the info and link but the mask you refer to is the A14. Ryan referred to the A14A which is a different mask...post WW2 in my opinion.
Cheers,
Darryl
