As a 10-11 year old living in England 1953-55, I collected both lead soldiers and toy knights. Against all odds, some 50 year later, I still have the knights.
These are the Knights of The Round Table made by a company called Timpo. The were introduced after the movie of the same name starring Mel Ferrer.
King Arthur is the one in the middle. Modred is the black knight and Launcelot is the one in red. The visors on helms can be raised and the rider and horse are separate.

There were also standing figures of Lancelot,Arthur, and Modred. I actually played with these and still marvel that the swords did not break as they are soft lead.

There were also Crusaders, including a couple of unlikely colors.
These toy knights were also sold in the USA.
