becareful with european sellers that want you to wire transfer the money. They send you a pic of a real item and then mail you a fake.

Hello,
I am not a uniform expert, so I cannot comment as to authenticity. The insignia appears to be for the Feuerschutzpolizei. This would make it a rather rare "field" tunic. As the FSP were deployed in the field such a tunic would be possible, although I have never seen one. It seems the standard police cut tunic with typical brown cuffs and collar was the standard with these guys.
Since this tunic appears to have no eagle I am a tad suspicious of it, although to be sure such an unissued tunic could have certainly be taken as a souvenier late in the war.
For me, the price seems a bit high.

Nice jacket I have seen the rest of the pictures which go with this and the piping is orenge, that said not much of an auction when you can get these jackets for that price or less.
