The sleeve eagle highly resembles the sleeve eagle insignia "variation Railways Police sleeve insignia worn on the centre left sleeve" pictured on page 119 in Angolia's old book "Insignia of the 3dReich", Ducimus Books. This same Railways Police eagle that's in Angolia's book is also depicted on plate 56, bottom right, #22, in the BL Davis book "Badges&Insignia of the 3dReich". It may be close in design, but am not sure if it's the eagle posted. So who has the reference books on Eastern volunteer forces, & rank charts of all the Auxiliary Police Forces serving on the OstFront?

That is indeed an intriguing photo. The cap appears to have an SS eagle and the wreath seems to be a mix of political/diplomatic? And the collar tabs??? Confused

There is some similarity to the Norwegian unit insignia in Littlejohn's book. Something like it was posted to the Addendum to the Norwegian chapter in a following volume.

Does anyone have Jill Halcomb's book "Uniforms/Insignia of the German Foreign Office/Government Ministries"?? Perhaps this cap/uniform/tab is covered in this book. The book also includes uniforms/insignia of the Government-General of Poland, & the Ministry of the Occupied Eastern Territories.
