Hello,
I have several daggers and would like to restore for my personal collection and they are in need of parts. I use to be able to get reproduction parts like screws ... from Reddick Enterprises. Can anyone tell me how to get a hold of this firm or any other that sells parts for daggers. I am looking for navy dagger release button, 2nd luft scabbard ring, SA screw... Thanks for your help.

Welcome to GDC:
I would highly recomend you contact Tom Johnson for replacement parts for your daggers. Toms Site is in the dealer links that are under advertisers on the home page for this forum.

Thanks for your reply Jim, I have been to Thomas Whittman's webpage and have read good things about him on this forum, however, I have had several bad encounters at shows with him and find it difficult to use his services.

I guess I will have to learn how to forgive and give him the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks

Wrong Tom Wink Try Tom Johnson. He has the best selection of parts. Reddick can be reached at 1-800-786-6210, website www.reddickmilitaria.com. But I would suggest using original parts if you want to sell the daggers later. I just checked and the website is still under construction.

Vern,

Thanks again for your help. I have seen some items on Johnson's website. Prices aren't bad. I will buy what I can there. I plan to use original parts when ever I can but will use repro on the difficult parts until I can find orginals. I don't sell daggers any longer. Too hard to find.

Thanks again

lol, i have to agree with you on that Pat.

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. And remember the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
