Hello, how has everyone been? I've been working offshore trying to pay for my new house so i havent had alot of time to grace you guys with my presence! I have recently acquired 3 new mausers (1 m96 swedish, and 2 k98's) I was wondering if anyone could suggest or point me in the right direction for a serial number look up, either a book or website. I am really interested in finding out where they were made and any other info that is available. Thanks

The 96 should be easy. The date and manufacturer should be marked on the receiver. The 98's most likely have a date and manufacturer's code as well. I doubt you'll have much luck just using the serial numbers.
