Thanks for your reply. So the liner is no good? Are there known problems with these Latvian sellers? I began to be a tad suspicious when the seller suggested sending cash!

the liner is a fake. the stamping is too crisp and clear.with the amount of rust on it it shouldnt be quite as visable.
any seller from the old eastern block is a no go im afraid Big Grin

Perfect ID. greg. Latvian, chemically induced rust. How do I know too? When I was a new-bee I bought a fake lid from them. I have never sold or thrown it away, as a reminder to myself of how careful to be.

Yes, total crap as described on the MCF board too! Buy nothing from Latvia unless she's a mail order bride and very good looking! And remember, the rest of her family will be living with you within a years time and you will have too support all 15 of them on your single paycheck! Latvia is a no go zone! For anything!

Yes, all are correct about this liner. Thats a very bad size stamp on the leather too, but clever with the rear stitching, watch out.
