Shield on right is Crimian Tar Tar. Well, at least from a black and white photo [SS Map] it appears to be.
Question,,what is shield on left?

Gaspare,
Do you know where this picture came from? I remember seeing it just a few days ago and thought the caption identified both. I have looked through a few books, but can't find it again.

Denny, its my photo. I own both shields..Unless someone posted this photo somewhere else,, I haven't.

There is a poor drawing of the one on RIGHT on the 'famous' end of war SS map. The shield on LEFT is in Foreign Legions Vol.4 in Bevo...
Both are described as the same,,Krimean Tar Tars..

Different colors,,and to me a different emblem. So my question still stands,,which is which,,and what is the other?

Sorry, I am certain I have seen this photo before, however. Did you perhaps post it on another site?

Have been looking but no go so far.
Viewed the map many moons ago, no longer recall what all was on it.
