Hey guys
I have been meaning to post these for about a month now. My dad and i went to Europe on a WW2 tour. It was awsome and the museums over there are too die for. We were at the Battle of Bulge museum, and i noticed these two Nskk daggers in one of the cases. The fittings on them are rather intresting. I have no clue. Wonder what you guys think. Are they really something special or are they and odd varation.

Spencer, It is thought that Marine NSKK/SA daggers were fitted with brass or plated fittings, these look pristine, over to the more knowledgable gents. Ivan

Looks more like patina of sorts to me. Given the wear on these daggers, if they were marine SAs, I would expect to see considerable plating loss or wear to the copper plating.

The one on the bottom looks to have a black grip and a black scabbard with silver fittings. Your thoughts ?????
