By-the-way ,the collar tabs measured 1 3/4 -inches wide by 2 3/8 - inched high . Here now the silver thread Teno Sleeve Eagle stitched to a thick black wool backing . The eagle piece measures 3 1/4 - inches across the top and is 2- inches high . The thread does not UV-light reflect !

TN - LEFT Facing and RIGHT Facing Metal Insignia.
I found it quite fascinating that the TN Metal Insignia was made in both Lt. and Rt. Versions!!
Have no Idea of the significance of the different 'directions' of the TN means?
Has anyone seen the same thing?
Txs, Dave dblmed

Right hand collar tab seems to be for Officer-Scharfuehrer rank . The backing is a black-blue wool, which would be in-line with fire deparment colors .

Very Interesting & Unusual - Thanks, have never seen that Post 43 Right Tab!
(Hard to get good Reference Information - as there is NO dedicated 'Book' on TeNo ... to my knowledge).
Here's an earlier set of Tabs & Boards.

Dave : I like all the Teno stuff you have shown , particular the mtl.insignia board .It looks like your collar tabs are very close to mine on the front ;--but what is the backing material in the center ?? Card board ?? Love your shoulder boards ; I need to get a pair now to complete my set ! George : Like that sleeve eagle ! What other items are on the tunic ?

Bernd,
The herringbone twill tunic has full insignia. As you can see, the machine sewn sleeve eagle is embroidered on HBT material. Here is a view of the TENO cufftitle. It is just like the one that you show.
