can anyone shed any light on what type of pouch this is size is about 6 in wide-length is almost 10 ins.marked R.A.I.-19.IT LOOKS LIKE A CLIP POUCH BUT THAT WOULD BE TO EASY.ANY THOUGHTS OR INFO.THANKS PAUL

It is the pouch for the clips for the "Pederson device", a unit designed to make existing rifles into semi-automatic weapons.

The pouches were worn in pairs, one for the clips, one for the device itself ( it could be mounted & unmounted) the device pouch is rare as is the device itself. the clip pouches are somewhat common.

hello mr jerry-yes to the cuff title,bars on the medals are france,ainse marne,def. sector.other is somme offensive,ypres-lys,def. sector.i bought a collection from a collectors widow.there were 17 victory medals in it.these are all i have left.i kept a c/war sword and the pictures that i posted earlier for my collection.again thanks for the info.paul
