Hello gemtlemen,

I have a possibility to buy 2 nice NSKK daggers made by Eickhorn... Look at the pics... Both with maker tags, and one with paper bag too. They came from a storage found previously here in CZ. Seller wants 500USD for that one with red tag and cca 630 for the second one with paper label. I think about buying both and keeping one in collection (or selling both but it hurts). Are those prices still fair for such pieces?

A real bargain - I'll be in Prague too and would be interested in any sources you might know of there. I would also be interested in either of those daggers.

WOW!!...These are the first pics I've seen of daggers in factory condition. I've been living such a sheltered life. Mad

Those are very nice.

i was in Prague last year, and i did find a good conditioned SS for 800 euros, which i didnt buy. I only found one shop with few good items though. Generally throughout Eastern Europe one finds few daggers and most in very poor condition

I agree Gustavo. On the shops there are very few such beauties, you can find them only in collections or on flea markets, or sold by "dealers" on auction sites....

Well Bob if they`re making that much at the shows they are probably worth half as much in the for sale forum Big Grin

Absolutely stunning!! Smile Smile Jan, you did VERY well, and are to be congratulated on acquiring two daggers in a condition that most collectors now can only dream about.

The quality of the materials used slipped a little through no fault of Eickhorn’s because it was forced to seek alternatives. But there is no need to make excuses with these two, and the guys who argue that the Eickhorn company made substandard products in that period only have to look at the two examples to know that is not the truth.
