Here are my 2 Zollgrenzschutz/customs arm shields.
I understand that there were two types of these shields (early/late) which are shown in the picture.
The earlier ones seem to be flat as opposed to slightly concave. The fonts are different for the numbers punched into the metal. The later ones also seem to have blackened/highlighted text and a brighter finish.
Does anyone know when the numbers changed from type 1 to 2?
