Well the sword may be good but the story is BS. I don`t know Japanese military history period. But... I just checked it out on wikipedia after a email from a friend. Total BS.

The maker is listed in the list of showa smiths as chu saku. He was average level maker. He had to be a fair maker to be listed but still average. David
