I think by the time the RZM came around they had stopped using this pattern skull.

You are correct It is in fact Weimar. So much for spell check eh? Yes, I agree this is a rare weimar era RZM skull. Go forward and prosper. Do you have any books worth reading? Also - I was here before the E- bay thing and the groupee crap. so the 2 at the end is a result of computer illiteracy not functional . Pss. I could have a ruptured duck as well but I never had a shot bfired at me so I would not apply. I have some suggestions myself but I will keep this secinct . K- C.M.
Getting back in to the hobby but deciding otherwise by the second as the real guys are gone and the fools are now experts and still asking "is this real" after 1,500 plus posta..

The skull looks all right, but I have NEVER seen the early skull with an RZM "numerical code" marking. Every one I've ever seen is either unmarked, or has the RZM & GES.GESCH, with a maker's mark, such as this example from St.&L. (one of the prongs was reattached)

(continued)..The St.&L logo is at about 2 o'clock,by the the prong base. The logo and RZM look much better than the photo. I've seen one other example just like this one. Here's the front:

Here's another example of an ST.&L totenkopf. I know, because it has the same die-stamp marks on the edges as the other one.
