Terry...Thats impressive!

Its just a small hand held miroscope. They have a flexable holder that I may get later(may be easier to use). I got mine thru pcgears.com. I just got it a couple hours ago, still learning what it can do. The model I got can take pictures, video, time lapsed video.

Very nice Terry,
Now I can just run down to your house when I need to take pictures, yes?
BTW, did you buy the house you were looking at?

This is the main reason for me getting this, all my TM pictures will need to be reshot.

Denny

Haven't moved yet, the house is still on the market. Linda may get a full time job in Fort Wayne, so kind of waiting to see what happens with that.

Terry,
If you need pictures of any of my TM's let me know and I can drop them off to be taken at your convenience.
p.s. It looks like we are not moving either. Pat was accepted for the position in Tucson, but we decided to stay put for now.

Terry, Very impressive pictures. I was looking at a new camera for better close-up imaging, but it seems that a digital microscope might even be better for really close images. FP

I got the model 311st. The only difference between the 311s and 311st is the touch capture feature. That allows you to take a picture of your item by just touching the top of the microscope. On the 311s model you need to click on an icon with your mouse. If I had to do it over I would get the 311s with the flexable arm.

I'm sure if I used different lighting I would even get better photos.

Terry,

Wow, that logo picture is tops. You're really making a good case for me picking up one of those microscopes too, damn.

Amazing piece of kit, Terry will it snap pictures from a distance as well ( i.e hilt of a bayo ) or is it just intended for close ups?.

Fantastic quality and more importantly....how much?.

Not the best for long shots, better lighting would help, Lighting for this shot was a table lamp.

Thank you for sharing your photo's and information on this camera that I had never heard of before your thread. I'll have one soon. Have a great holiday season, my friend.

I had a look at the website - they have some great options for these, as well as the stand for holding the scope. Think I'll have to get one of these too - thanks for showing it!

Russell
