UBB.threads Forums Uniform & Accessories German Military Uniform Forum Weird Tabs/Luftwaffe?

I want to post a set of tab, in the hope that someone might be able to shed some light for me.


In a trade, I received these tabs with another set(Judicial). The tabs appear to be Luftwaffe.

The waffenfarbe looks to be an orange/brown/red and the piping is in gold, as is used in the Administrative and Beamte tabs to denote the "Highest Level". I traded them initially thinking that they belonged to the judicial section, yet these are definately not wine red.

My thoughts are that this set belong to some War Time Official in the Luftwaffe.

They are in the original wrapper, that is very fragile.

Any input or opinions are appreciated.

I am no expert, but my initial thought on seeing them is SA tabs. Again, just my thought. Also, I posted a thread about my LW ground unit (fieldgrey) M43 officer cap that we spoke about. It is a couple of threads down from yours! Wouold be interested in your assessment of it.

Thanks Harry. I bought these thinking that they were Luftwaffe. How much do you think I could get for them? I have no need for SA stuff.
