I got this directly from a local vets footlocker with some other buckles and items. It is brass with the remains of a silver wash. The back is marked with RZM and 24 within circles. I posted this on another forum but so far no one knows what it is.

Kinda tough because of the low res requirements of the forum for images. Is this more helpful? The markings are stamped in , although in this picture they look raised.
