Well, now that it's over, the auction for this Para helmet reached $4,055.00 from a $0.99 cent starting bid!.. http://www.auctionarms.com/Clo...fm?ItemNum=9223156.0All in all a good price for this lid in todays market..considering that the field post number inked to the inside is for a named member of the stabs.company of fallschirmjager regiment 3!!..and, it has a second pattern decal overlapping an earlier one from when it was period refinished..unless it has gone to a serious collector, expect to see this helmet on a dealers site with a pricetag in the $9500+ range.
