I've been sorting through a few things and thought some would like to see this . We always see the Teno blades and sometimes the headgear ...but the earlier Black Teno Uniforms don't come up that often.

I see he has the cufftitle, so does he have loops for the 1920 TeNo Badge on the chest? Ron Weinand Weinand Militaria

It has 2 sets of loops on the left breast pocket ..the upper set (you can see in the photo) could fit the pin on that badge but below that set is another pair that's pretty close together. I remember seeing period photos with some wearing the badge on the left pocket , one gent wore it below the pocket ..since those dated badges were phased out quickly , I don't know how strict they were with the regs for it's wear ...even the cufftitles with the dates were short lived.

Not to impose on your thread, but what is that red visor cap? I have never seen that before.

Come on in Tj , except for you and Ron ..it's not that busy here right now I tried posting a few things but , looks like the debates had more action for me --hey , I tried right ? That Red Top is a Reichsbahn Visor I'm not sure if it was for Platform or Senior pay grade personnel , like a supervisor (no pun)..This one has enlisted style chinstrap If the Train Platform was full of people ..someone wearing a Red top would be easier to pick out in a crowd

That visibility theory makes perfect sense. Man, there is something to learn on every thread on this site. Before today, I would have had to do a clear second take if I came across one of those for sale. Thanks for 'splain'n it to me On that last photo, it makes you wonder if the man on the right's past injuries relegated him to Reichsbahn duty and away from the front? He is tall with a sports badge, so he is not weenie, but then the party badge may have helped with the 'cushy' job as well.

The guy on the right wasn't much of a swordsman in the sense of dueling. Those are scars from fencing.IMO

It looks almost like a Gold Party Badge on his pocket ...he must have been well connected to avoid the Draft and keep that job 'cause the War was well under way at that point. One thing I have not figured out though ..look at the angle on his sleeve eagle ,it looks like it was sewn on wrong ...strange

Mike,
Outstanding stuff! I really like the teno uniform. They are tough to find. In my quest to get one representative uniform from each branch, teno is still an open space in my collection. Got the daggers, but no uniform.

Remember that TV show where they'd come to your house and clean and arrange everything? It's pretty cramped in there ..One of these days I'll either get another room or ..sort it out

"Liberace avatar". What an insult but still very funny. Geees, I just may have to change it, not "macho" enought. Tell me Mike, do you think it would be possible for you to post some pics of your Banschutz uniforms, whenever you have time ? I would really love to see it.

Hi Ed , We just came home and I found the new Military Advisor as well ..Whenever Clyde researches something and writes an article , you can be sure it's in depth, well done and the information is correct ..In my opinion , he's one of the "Icons" in our Hobby ..and a gentleman.
