Gailen,
Does the MM appear to have the appropriate distance to the lower crossguard?

Those pre-34 hangers are a blast. There were tons of variations of these hangers. The SS Officals were unimpressed and in 1934 standardized them.

Rough guess $6000-$7500 US. Maybe more to the right buyer.

Great dagger. Crazy about the grinding - very thorough. Also, the gray background in the etching is nice to see. Typical of this maker. I don't believe I have ever seen a fake "Hammesfahr" Rohm dagger, but there's always the first time. This one looks as good as they come.

Dave, because Mustang says thats his option 2, take the dagger and run.[So he doesn't have to pay for his daughters wedding and sacrifice his dagger]
Its humour Wink

WinkAs an American living in the UK I buy and sell daggers to and from the USA no problem.
Last week from CA four days via air.Green sticker,no trouble either way.If you sell it there, let the Buyer choose the route.
Cheers

Suggest you become a premium member for $30 so you can place it in the "For Sale" forum. If you try to sell it on Ebay it is almost certain to get pulled.

Yes, this is not the place to seek a buyer or promote the sale of the dagger. If it was I would be advertising my own stuff on this thread.
