This is my true collecting passion. I cannot get enough of these insignia. I want to start this thread to form an area for everyone to post their Luftwaffe(or auxillary organizations)! I will start off with mine. If there is a certain tab that you would like a better scan or information on please let me know! Now lets see yours! Administrative

The next photo consists of my tray of War Time Official, Engineer, and Navigator tabs.
I apologize for the crappy quality of the photos. This is the largest photo I can post here.

Here is the only pair that I do not like(not 100% convinced of originality)... I received them for free as repros from a friend, and was keeping them seperate from the others until I was informed by several LW collectors that these could be real.

In this case, the stiffner material seems to be made of a whitish nylon like woven fiber.
In my experience, smell is a part of the items we collect. I have notice a simular smell in my real cloth items. These tabs have no odor what so ever.
I know that just about any and every kind of material was used for the "buckram" stiffner when these were made.

Eitherway, they were given to me free as repros and are stored seperately from all of the others.
If they are indeed deemed to be nonperiod, I will keep them for future reference.
I am expecting a few nice tabs within the next few days(Field Division Officer pair and a single medical EM tab). I look forward to sharing them when they arrive.
Lets keep the tabs coming!

Early DLV? The Flieger-SA used winged propellar tabs similar to these and was incorporated into the DLV in 1934.Which is why I think they are early DLV but I could be wrong.

Thanks for sharing your tabs with us! You have some wonderful examples! Believe it or not, Admin tabs are some of the most collectable for several reasons... There are many different levels and variations. Admin tabs can almost be a focus in their own right!
The middle level Feldwebel set(embroidered wreath with four triangular pips and broken green and aluminum piping) are awesome! This field is a very under appreciated area and thankfully the prices reflect this... for now!
I also love the EM medical singles you posted as well! Nice collection, Raymond!
Lets keep the tabs coming!

Those tabs are mind blowing!! I love the SHD and RLB tab. I need to find more of these to round out my "Luftwaffe Auxillary" section!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for sharing your tabs!!! Your sets are in very nice condition! Were they ever applied to a tunic?
