Just a question about the scabbard screws on this Julius Krebs example. In Whittmann's book, on page 77, there is another scabbard with similar "raised profile" screws. However, I am aware that most other 1st luft scabbard screws are flush with the fittings themselves...not sticking out at all. I would appreciate any opinions regarding this. The rest of the dagger seems genuine in all respects as far as I can see, I'm just unsure about the scabbard screws. Thanks.

The firm of KREBS due to my experiencs did several "non textbook anomalies" during their period manufacturing processes.
E.g. they sometimes used leather washers on their RAD leader daggrs and on elite guard mod. 33 daggers.
I clearly can remember a custom dagger by KREBS ("normaly" also manufacturered which flush mounted screws by "all" other manufacturers) which also had this kind of screws. For me (if all scabbard screws are this way) totally period and a seldom seen variant (as is a 1mod Luft by this firm for itself).
